Still Learning, still Laughing

🌼 Have you ever stared at your phone or computer, totally and completely baffled, and thought, “Oh crap, where is my son, daughter, or grandchild when I need them?!”  If so, you’re not alone. That was me—many times over—during the past few months while building this website!

I still have no idea why I even attempted something like this, considering how tech illiterate I am. Let’s just say technology and I have a complicated relationship… mostly one-sided.

This became even more obvious when I found myself struggling with the simplest things. Editing? A nightmare. Buttons that should’ve been right in front of me would vanish into thin air. Text would suddenly float into strange places. And don’t even get me started on alignment! I could write an entire book on the trials I encountered while trying to navigate this tricky, challenging project I’d started.

Would I really be able to stick with it? Even resizing an image felt like a battle—one minute it was too small, the next it was stretching like taffy… in all the wrong directions. Lordy, Lordy.

But here’s the thing: I kept going. Even when my hair felt like it was thinning by the minute, and when I swear my bad words were heard by the neighbors… I stuck with it. And eventually, I started to feel proud—really proud—after each little victory, (and yes, there were a few celebratory dances in the living room).

What a ride it’s been, for sure. Yet I can honestly say that the joy I’ve found in this process—and the joy I know is still to come—has been nothing short of miraculous!

So tell me—have you ever had a tech moment like mine? Or are you one of those naturally gifted, tech-savvy types who breezes through it all? Either way, I’d love to hear from you.

I mean really, even if all someone takes from a story is a lesson in patience, well—that’s still a win. We’re all in this journey of life together. We’re a team… and we’ve got this! CHEERS!

Until next time,

Darlene
