Resolution or no Resolution

“A New Year is almost here — seems it always tiptoes in before I’ve even caught my breath.

I used to make New Year’s resolutions, especially around weight loss… and every year I felt like I was setting myself up for disappointment, if not a feeling of failure. If you’ve ever struggled with your weight, you know that feeling all too well.

So this year, I am doing something different. I did not miraculously lose 50 pounds - but. I did shed the equivalent of 50 pounds in unrealistic expectations, self-disappointment and perfectionism.

On January 1st, 2026, I’ll be sharing my weight journey — the real story, the struggles, the emotional eating, the late‑night habits, and the peace I’ve finally found on the other side of it all.

I’ve reached a place of ease with myself and how I look, and I’m happy to share that journey with you. What about you? What is your plan moving forward into the New Year?

Which category do you fall under?

  1. The Classic Resolution‑Makers - Every year you set clear goals

  2. The No‑Resolution Crowd - You don’t like goals, you don believe in setting goals

  3. The Repeat‑Resolution Group - You set the same goal every year

  4. The Resolution Lovers - You’ve got it figured. You love setting goals

  5. The Quarterly Goal‑Setters - You don’t need it to be January - numerous goals a year

  6. The “Just Doing My Best” Group - No pressure. Just do your best goals.

Let me know! Remember: There are no right or wrong answers! Just let me know which number applies to you!

CHEERS to a NEW YEAR filled with HONESTY,COURAGE, and a whole lot of SELF-ACCEPTANCE. 💜✨

ps If you would like to join me and the ladies in my Group - From Shadows to Shine Circle - where we talk all things but for sure the joys of aging and how to navigate this truly beautiful yet often challenging phase of our lives, you are more than welcome.🧡
